Women's Ultrasound Clinic

I’ve always had very pleasant receptionists, I gave it 3 stars because it’s extremely hard to get a hold of anyone. I’ve been calling within their opening and closing time and respecting their lunch close. It has been a week and I still can’t get anyone, you call and get a beeping sound, every day, all day. Most of the technicians are quite nice but others don’t want you to talk or be there. With my first I had a gallbladder surgery and had to go see them and the pressure they were using was so painful. I thought my stitches would open up or my baby would come out: I did say some were nice, and those technicians that I had to chance to meet were kind hearted. They explained everything and went above and beyond making my experience great. Sadly, out of 2 pregnancies where I had to have numerous ultrasounds I only have one good 3 second video. All of my other images that I’d pay (6$/each) look like I’m looking a brushstrokes..nothing looks human. So, this time around, I’ll advocate first and see if paying for an image of the top of belly is worth it. If you’re looking for that perfect profile view image or clean picture of your baby in the tummy..even if you prepare and drink all the water, you will not get it here. With my first baby my husband went in and he had a great experience, for the second is was during the pandemic so I went by myself, so my husband has a good impression of the clinic. I’ve never felt rushed as I go in with the mindset that it’s a 10 min appointment, so it’s in and out. I did pay to have some specialized ultrasound pictures at UCBaby where they offer 4D ultrasound and they take their time 20-30 min (depending on the package you chose and how much you pay). Overall it’s great place, clean and convenient, you have the lab in the same location. As I finished writing this review, my call was taken and after 18 min on hold I spoke to someone, I have an appointment in 2 weeks.

This wasn't our initial experience with ultrasounds here. Booking an appointment by phone was consistently difficult, but the service met expectations. In the past, we were charged $15 for two images and a video showcasing the baby. Yet, on our recent visit, we unexpectedly received just a single photo for $6. This photo, lacking clarity and detail, showed only the baby's head. When we questioned the reduced cost and how to access a complete image, the receptionist mentioned that only one image was available from the technician, and further discussion with them was not an option. The number of ultrasounds during pregnancy is quite restricted, typically around 4 to 5 per expectant mother. Regrettably, once the session concludes, revisiting to capture specific results is not feasible. We won't be recommending this clinic to others. However, I suggest clinics should inform patients about the type and quality of photos they will receive, rather than making arbitrary decisions. Transparency about photo fees and content would be much appreciated.

I’ve had two ultrasounds done here, at both times the sonographer was wonderful; however , the reception staff were dismissive. They did not acknowledge my presence for maybe 5 minutes, almost like they didn’t see me standing in front of them. It was pretty strange and a bit awkward to just stand there being ignored. And calling this location is nearly impossible. It’s either immediately “busy” and you can’t get through or you’re on hold for quite a long time. I had to call bank street to internally transfer me and then was put on hold for 19 minutes before I decided to hang up. I won’t be returning to this location. I gave 2 stars as the sonographers provided a different experience for me.

Went with this clinic because it came highly recommended by friends and doctors, but they must have been talking about the other location. This is my second child and I went in for a third trimester growth scan and it was a terrible experience. The office was not busy at all. The whole appointment was very rushed as we were in and out within 5 minutes. We even brought our toddler and built up the excitement of seeing their sibling and we left very disappointed. I was quite emotional afterwards. We got one clear shot of baby's face and we got another picture sent of side profile but it's blurry and not the best. This is no fault of the whole office but the technician in particular. Too bad.

I usually have an awesome experience with the Cleopatra branch but I came in today for an ultrasound and the lady that did our ultrasound is a bit rough and would not notify you that she is going to put more pressure on your abdomen or will even ask if the pressure she is applying is ok. She shaked the convex array while still in contact with my abdomen which I do not appreciate, first time experiencing that and as a pregnant woman, I do not know if that is ok, it caused anxiety to me. My ultrasound today is for fetal measurements. Today was not a good experience. The previous visits are awesome but today is a horrifying experience for me and my husband.
